First Post: Cotton Candy Sea Illustrations!

Hello 2026! I can’t believe I’m finally sharing this website URL—again! Fun fact: this has actually been my online handle since college which was over 20 years ago. Time really does fly! And yet, here I am, still starting something new and sharing an interest I fell in love with just last year. And honestly, that’s one of the things I’ve learned to embrace—it’s never too late to begin again. This space is my way of honoring it —a quiet return to a familiar name and a feeling of curiosity and excitement that have stayed with me over the years.

Looking back, what feels most surprising is how this all came together in such an unexpected way. Back when I was in university, we knew AI was coming someday—it was always talked about as a future possibility. But honestly, I don’t think anyone imagined it would grow into something like this. I certainly never expected AI to become this capable, this visual, or this expressive. Seeing how far it has come today still feels a little unreal, and discovering how much I enjoy working with it last year was something I never saw coming.

My first theme, Cotton Candy Sea, revolves around pastel skies and the sea, with soft and dreamy atmosphere. It reflects the ocean’s calm, where hues merge and time feels slow. The goal is to create peaceful, immersive scenes that invite quiet reflection by the sea. These aren’t my first images created with MidJourney—I’ve been generating and exploring visuals with it since last year. But this is the first time I’ve made a conscious effort to build a cohesive theme, to let a collection take shape instead of existing as individual pieces.

Below are some of the sample illustrations I produced through Midjourney for this theme. You can download these images without the watermarks from my Google Drive, Cotton Candy Sea folder. You are free to use them as phone wallpapers or phone locked screens. Also check the Download page for all the free illustrations. I hope you’d enjoy using these illustrations as much as how I enjoyed creating them!
